Hello and greetings to all citizens, my name is Dorothy Rummerfield. My husband is Gary Rummerfield, we have been married for forty-one years. We have three daughters, and seven grandchildren. My family have been Gore residents for four generations. We have owned and operated businesses in Tulsa for the past 25 years. We retired and moved back to Gore four years ago and we love it. I graduated from Gore High School with the class of 1966. I am a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle in Gore. Without God, I couldn’t have made it where I am today. I encourage citizens to interact with the council with questions and concerns. I look forward to advancing the quality of life within the community.

Bobby L. Warren was born in Sallisaw, OK, on July 28, 1956, and is the son of Lewis and Hazel Warren. Bob graduated from Gore High School in 1974 and from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah in 1978. Bob taught school at Gumsprings School District for twenty years. After teaching at Gumsprings and Gore combined, he began teaching in the Gore school system exclusively where he has taught for ten years and has also driven for the school bus system.
Bob has two sons, Bobby Lynn II being the eldest. Bob and fiancée Nada Ferguson also have a son together, Brockman Tex Kaden Warren.
Bob has been a resident of Gore all his life. He began serving on the town council in January 2007.
Ryan Callison

Ryan is a native of Gore and a 1992 graduate of Gore High School. Ryan’s has fulltime career as the Air Quality Program Manager for the Cherokee Nation. Ryan began working with the Cherokee Nation as an Environmental Analyst in December 1996. He is currently the manager of all Cherokee Nation Environmental Air Quality activities. This program houses one of the largest tribal air monitoring networks in the United States.
Ryan has an Associates Degree in Biology from Connors State College, Bachelors Degree in Environmental Management and Masters Degree in Industrial Management from Northeastern State University. He is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Registered Sanitarian (RS), and a Registered Professional Environmental Specialist (RPES). Ryan is the former Chairman of the National Tribal Air Association in Albuquerque, New Mexico, a steering committee member of the U.S. EPA Tribal Air Monitoring Support Center (TAMS), and he is also on EPA’s National Air Monitoring Strategy Committee. Ryan has also served on various community committees. He is a proud Cherokee Nation Tribal member. Ryan is proud of the community and strives to make the right decisions that better the lives of the citizens. Ryan conveys the basic philosophy of working together on key issues to advance the progress of the community.

Don was elected to the Gore City Council in August 2007 and took office in September 2007. He grew up in Gore and graduated from Gore High School in 1959. He joined the Army after High School and served one year at Ft. Hood Texas and two years in Germany. Upon his return, he attended Connors State College, Oklahoma State University, and graduated from Central State University with a degree in Marketing and Business Administration. He married Janis Sheffield from Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, in January 1966. They will celebrate their 42nd anniversary on January 29, 2008. They have two children, Jeffery and Amanda. Jeffrey and his wife Angie have five children and are expecting another soon. Amanda and her husband Tim have two children. Don worked as a Marketing Representative for Texaco, Inc. for ten ½ years in Oklahoma City and purchased the OTASCO store in Gore in 1979. It was later changed to Gore True Value and Just Ask Rental. He retired in December 2003, but continues to help his son Jeff and his wife Janis in the store operations when he doesn’t have a ballgame to attend.
Don’s goals for the city are to work with the mayor and other council members to improve and upgrade the infrastructure to accommodate the citizens in a more efficient way. He also hopes to improve the fire protection in efforts to obtain a lower fire rating for the town.
Clayton Cunningham

Gore Volunteer Fire Department Chief
Clay has been a resident of Gore for four years. Clay was appointed to city council in November of 2007 and also serves the town as the Chief of the Gore Volunteer Fire Department. Clay works for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Hydroelectric Power Plant at Eufaula, OK. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
Clay’s favorite hobby and passion has been playing bluegrass music for over 14 years, starting the mandolin at the age of 8, and expanding to fiddle, guitar and banjo. Clay grew up in Bartlesville, OK and got started playing bluegrass by a local player named Leon Campbell. Clay’s impromptu walk-on appearance at the 2004 National Bluegrass Banjo competition earned him second place in the Nation. Clay’s banjo style has been influenced by Earl Scruggs, J.D. Crowe and Wayne Fields. Clay has opened for acts such as Joe Diffie, Mark Chesnutt, Tracy Lawrence, Tammy Cochran and Riders in the Sky. He also played at Nashville’s Station Inn in August 2003. Clay recently married his beautiful wife, Kari Ann. They are proud to have established their home in Gore.
Horace E. Lindley

Horace E. Lindley has over 30 years of Government and business experience. He attended the Oklahoma College of Liberal arts in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Currently holds a certification through the Oklahoma Department of Commerce as a Certified Grant Administrator, which he performs for the Town of Gore. Other license include Water and WasteWater Works Operator Certification with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality. He has served for two elected terms with the Eastern Oklahoma Development District and one term with the State wide Oklahoma Area Regional Council of Government. Horace performs the functions of daily Town of Gore and the Gore Public Works Authority Administrative services.
Tana Carter
Town Treasurer
Tana Carter began working as the Town Payroll Clerk in 2005 before being appointed to the Town Treasurer position and then being elected to the position in 2007. She graduated from Gore High School in 1992 and continued on to college to study accounting and civil engineering. Tana has over 10 years of bookkeeping experience by doing work for multiple businesses. She has served as the Treasurer of the Chamber of Commerce and is currently the President of the Gore Little League. You will often find her enjoying the sports and activities that her son, Tanner, is involved in.
Tana stays active in the progression of the Town and looks forward to seeing much growth and improvement in the years to come.
Nada Ferguson
City Clerk
Nada Ferguson was born in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, in September 1971. Her parents are Tex and Terry Ferguson and Chris Morton. Nada attended Gore Schools, and later, Connors State College and Carl Albert State College. She has worked as a customer service representative for World Acceptance Loan Corporation and Tax Service and then for two years as a paraprofessional at Gore Public Schools. Nada currently attends nursing school at ICTC where she will graduate with her LPN nursing degree later this year. She then plans to continue her education and become a registered nurse.
Nada has lived in Gore for most of her life and has three children who all currently attend Gore Schools: daughter, Chelsea Marie Jo Andrews, 16, a junior; son, Dakota Wade Andrews, 11; and Brockman Tex Kaden Warren, 4, who is in headstart and is also the son of Nada’s fiancé, Bob Warren.
Nada was appointed as the Town Clerk for Gore in November 2007 and says it has been a great experience. She looks forward to serving her community.

The Town Hall, Police Station, Municipal Court, and Community Building are fully accessible buildings. Accessible parking spaces are provided for all city maintained structures.
