Public Safety

The Town of Gore currently has a mass warning system (sirens included) installed on three poles that are positioned in the north, central and southern parts of town.  Weather permitting, sirens are tested and sounded at noon on the first Wednesday of each month.

POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Gore Police Department typically employs 3-4 full-time officers and 3-4 part-time or reserve officers. Jeremy Walters (above) was sworn in as Chief of Police in January 2023. In the past few years, the department moved into its present modern facility at 1201 N. Main St. and upgraded its fleet with three fully equipped patrol trucks.

In case of an emergency, CALL 911. To contact the police department, call 918-489-5963.

Municipal court (schedule subject to change) is held at the police station at 6pm, on the second Monday of each month. The Town’s Court Clerk may be contacted at 918-489-5984.
